Condition: Lovely color and patina. Original locks missing. This is almost certainly the upper portion of a three section corner cabinet.

This rustic pine corner cabinet boasts many wonderful details. Although the locks are missing, the elaborate escutcheons and hinges were expensive. Notice the six inset panels- each was chosen for its figured grain and contrasts with the surrounding straight grained woods, suggesting the cabinet was never intended to be painted. Finally, the molded frieze panel above each door is the touch of a sophisticated furniture maker versed in the principles of architecture and the current neoclassical design.
