Biedermeier cherry bookcase/vitrine, the top with a projecting pediment over two doors, each with ebonized mullions and brass medallions opening to three adjustable shelves, the canted sides with ebonized half-columns with Corinthian capitals, over a single drawer, all on square tapering legs.

This lovely cabinet is showing its age. Most notable are the veneer patches and dark stains to the right side, possibly from heat. The lock and escutcheons are replaced. Recently restored and polished, it's structurally sound and quite usable, but there are countless bumps and bruises from 200 years of service.
