This sturdy, exuberant table is stamped four times, "Made by/F E Schmultzler/ Staunton, ILL". Schmultzler was proud of his work and rightly so- the intricacy of the top is just amazing. Staunton is a small town of fewer than 6,000 people 45 miles northeast of St. Louis. Schmultzler advertised in the Staunton Star Times from at least 1918-1926.
