Fine pair of Naples plates, each with an elaborate gilt border and painted with a Romantic landscape, one identified as "Veduta presa da Capodimonte", underglaze blue mark with stenciled Crown over "Napoli 1814"; the other identified as "Veduta del Parigliano", stenciled Crown over "Napoli 1814", rubbed.

There is a star crack to the left hand plate (View From Capodimonte) and two star-cracks to the right hand plate (View of Parigliano), as seen in the photo. They are faint glaze cracks and do not go into the body of the porcelain, barely visible.
