George III Mahogany Wheel Barometer

George III mahogany wheel barometer, the broken pediment with a replaced brass finial; the inlaid flower over the thermometer, flanked by inlaid shells; the engraved face with replaced convex glass over the bone set-dial over another inlaid flower. By John Merry Ronketti, No 6 Peter St. Bloomsbury. Ronketti was born in Italy and moved to London, where he was active from 1787-1819.
