Louis XVI cherrywood slant front desk (bureau de pente), the inlaid top with a shaped gallery; the slant front with kingwood cross-banding opening to an interior fitted drawers, pigeon holes and a secret compartment; the lower section with two drawers flanking a false drawer, each with a brass knob and kingwood banding; on square tapering legs.

Lovely color and patina. Lock replaced, numerous patches, all are well done and quite old..
